The mother of the Desperado is the Amarelo #9, a unique cut that pairs the refreshing citrus found in the Str8 Lemonade and crosses it with Symbiotic Genetics' Banana Punch. Amarelo #9 is an extremely vigorous plant that grows taller with improved internodal spacing, her terps range from lemon to bananas to pina colada. The flower yield is moderate, but the hash yields are great which is why she is held in such regard for hash production.
Desperado is a truly excellent hybrid with an uplifting effect and sativa-dominant style effects. The refreshing citrus of the Str8Lemonade is just like a glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and the Banana Pnch is much like freshly-cut pineapples blended with banana candy.
